Breakfast is an essential meal of the day. It helps keep the energy level high. One should never skip breakfast (other than intermittent fasting).
Even if you are on a weight loss diet, you should not skip breakfast. This is the most required food by our body. As we don't eat the whole night, i.e., for more than 8 - 12 hours, we don't eat anything. This is equivalent to fasting.
So, breakfast breaks the fast and provides our body with the required nutrition for the daily function of the system, i.e., body and mind.
