This Mango Mojito is a non-alcoholic summer drink. You can also call this Mango Lemonade. This is prepared from fresh and ripe mango pulp and club soda. Mint and lime juice add an extra punch of refreshment to the drink.
Virgin Mango Mojito (Non-Alcoholic)
I love mangoes like anything. I mean, who doesn't like mangoes? Mangoes are a specialty of the summer season in India. We get ripe mangoes only during the summer season, and you will see them abundantly in the market for only 3 - 4 months.
What Is Virgin Mango Mojito?
Virgin mango mojito is a non-alcoholic twist to the mojito with mango flavor. Mojito is a Cuban cocktail recipe made with white rum (alcohol), sugar, lime juice, soda water, and muddled mint leaves. It's a combination of sweetness, citrus, and mint flavors along with the alcohol. Mojito itself is a cooling summer drink.
When we make a mojito without alcohol, it becomes a virgin mojito or mojito. A virgin mojito combines sugar, lime juice, soda water, and fresh minty flavor. This is a refreshing summer drink. To add more fruity flavor, add any fruit juice to the non-alcoholic virgin mojito.
Since mangoes are abundantly available in summer, this is one of the best summer coolers with mango flavor, I must say. You can also make this drink in any season with mango fruit juice or frozen mangoes, but I prefer it with fresh mangoes only.
Which mango to use for mango mojito?
There are different varieties in the market, and during this period, the market gets flooded with many varieties. Out of all of them, I love Alphonso Mangoes a lot. These mangoes are juicy and have natural sweetness. Very rarely do you get sour mangoes in these.
However, if you are making this in any other season where you can't have fresh mangoes, you can also use readily available mango juice or even frozen mangoes. I have never tried the other two options yet, as I make fresh mangoes.
Besides the divine sweet taste, mango contains many essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. This is a rich source of vitamin A.

Quick Tips
To make quick summer drinks, I make simple syrup and refrigerate it in an airtight jar. Whenever I feel like making juice or other drinks, I just add simple syrup with other ingredients, and there is no need to wait.
Again, this superb drink has the flavor of mint and tangy lemon. You can also add lime to get a strong citrus flavor. While making such minty mojitos, just remember to muddle the mint 7 - 8 times. But if you muddle more, the drink might turn bitter.
