Fresh Mango Salsa is a great side dish and a summer special dish. Make this mango salsa with fresh mangoes only. A perfect fruity salad with a combination of sweetness, tanginess, and spicy flavors. This is naturally paleo, vegan, and gluten-free. This mango salad is oil-free too.

    Fresh Mango Salsa

No doubt this is my new favorite side dish. This yummy mango salsa has fresh pulpy sweet mangoes as it's main ingredient. Since mango is a summer fruit, you can also say this is a delicious summer salsa. Like other salsa or salads, this is savory, spicy with the natural sweetness of mangoes.

Mangoes are my summer's favorite food. If possible I would love to replace all my meals with this super fruit. In India, the market is flooded with varieties of mangoes during summers. This is also known as "King of Fruits". In India, this is our national fruit. And, this is a stone fruit that means it has a large seed in it. Mango is native to India and Southeast Asia.

Mango - Nutritions & Health Benefits

However, apart from the deliciousness, mango has numerous health benefits as well. This super fruit is filled with many nutrients and essential minerals that are required for a healthy body and mind. This is also low in calories and hence good for a healthy diet.

These are few health benefits of mangoes:

    • Helps in digestion
    • Boosts immunity
    • Good for healthy eyes
    • Promotes weight loss
    • Keeps digestive system healthy
    • Lowers cholesterol
    • Keeps skin healthy
    • Regulates diabetes
    • Fights cancer

How to Make Fresh Mango Salsa?

    Ingredients:

This salsa is a simple recipe with minimal ingredients and with fat-free lemon dressing. This is a no-oil mango salad. The simple ingredients are fresh mangoes, some peppers, jalapeno or green chili (for spicy), onions, and cilantro leaves. That's all. To conclude, no fancy ingredients for my mango salsa. However, if you want, you can add some crunchy bites of cucumber also to this. Bell peppers add crunch to the salsa.

    Fresh Mango -

Mango is the main ingredient of mango salsa. So obvious. This is the hero ingredient. I prefer this salsa with fresh mangoes only. I love Alphonso mangoes for any of my mango recipes. These mangoes are pulpy, juicy, and sweet.

    Bell Peppers -

I have added green & red bell peppers. These peppers add crunchy bite to the salad. These are again optional and adds variations to the mango salsa. If you don't have these, then also you can make your mango salsa tasty. But adding peppers to the salsa gives a crunch and complements the soft juicy mangoes.

    Jalapeno/ Chillies-

Jalapeno brings in that heat to the sweet and savory mango salsa.

    Method/ Instructions:

There can be no easier recipe than this. I won't call whatever I've posted here is a recipe. This is simply an idea. Prep and mix all ingredients. Season with salt to taste.
