Mushroom tikka masala is one delicious main course Indian restaurant-style curry. This authentic Indian curry is rich, creamy, and makes the perfect party food.

    Mushroom Tikka Masala

This is a delicious curry that requires a little preparation. Especially for marinating the vegetables so that they will absorb the flavors of the spices. Again these are rich curry that is perfect for any special occasions or party at your home. But I don't consider this as an everyday curry.

Serve this rich spicy mushroom tikka curry with tandoori roti or naan or paratha. This even goes well with steam rice.

I normally make paneer tikka masala. This time I have replaced paneer with mushroom and cauliflower. These tikka masala curries are so much drool-worthy and mouth-watering. Extremely tempting mushroom curry indeed.

    What is mushroom tikka masala?

Mushroom Tikka masala is a North Indian curry that is made with marinated and roasted mushrooms cooked in red gravy. Basically, tikka refers to marinated and roasted/ grilled vegetables.

Also, you can change vegetables as per your choice. Instead of mushrooms, you can take paneer cubes, tofu cubes, cauliflower, other vegetables, etc. You can play around with ingredients and try making different tikka masala recipes.
