    Crispy Potato Bites

    If you are looking for some quick potato snack recipes then these tiny crispy potato bites are the perfect snacks to try. Crispy potato bites are made with mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, and cheese.

    These are the perfect snacks for kids as well. These tasty treats are made by mixing soft mashed potatoes with breadcrumbs and cheesy goodness, forming small, bite-sized shapes. you can deep-fry, or bake them in the oven or air-fryer until they become wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

    These are like little potato nuggets filled with cheesy joy, and kids can't resist their deliciousness. These bites are friendly to young taste buds and make a great addition to any kids' menu. So, if you want a fun and tasty snack that kids will adore, these crispy potato bites are the way to go.

    Apart from the kid's favorite, these will be good to serve for a large crowd party also. This is another great vegetarian appetizer.

    How to make crispy potato bites?

    These are great finger foods for toddlers and kids as well. These are easy to make with boiled leftover potatoes. So you can prep ahead of time for a quick snack option. And it won't take more than 5 minutes to make these bites.

    Ingredients -

    Potatoes - boil, peel off the skin, mash the potatoes

    Grated Cheese - any processed cheese

    Breadcrumbs - regular breadcrumbs

    Seasonings - pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning, salt, and chili flakes (optional)

    Instructions

    Take boiled potatoes in a large mixing bowl. With a fork mash them nicely. Add the breadcrumbs, cornstarch, grated cheese, and seasonings to the potato bowl. Make sure the potatoes are at room temperature while mixing other ingredients.

    Mix everything well making a tight dough. Divide the mixture into small roundels (of small lemon size). Grease the palm and roll the potato roundels into tiny logs or any other desired shapes. Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the potato bites till they are golden and crispy in texture. Potato bites are ready. Serve them hot

    Variations of crispy potato bites

    If you want to add veggies you can add boiled and mashed vegetables like carrots, green peas, and green beans to such recipes and kids will surely love them. Some of them are as listed below -

    Ingredients
      

    • ยผ cup Breadcrumbs
    • 4 large Potatoes boiled, peeled, and mashed.
    • ยฝ tsp Pizza seasoning or any seasoning of choice
    • ยฝ tsp Chili flakes or as preference
    • ยผ cup Cheese grated any processed cheese grated
    • ยฝ tsp Salt or as taste
    • 1 cup Oil for deep frying

    Notes

    If it's breaking add some more bread crumbs and cheese. You can also use 1 tsp corn starch to the potato mixture.
    Cool potatoes completely before using them for the mixture of potato bites
