How to make iced green tea lemonade (Starbucks Style)?
It's an easy drink and takes 5 minutes only to make at home. The green tea brand I use is not the same as used in Starbucks. You can take your favorite brand.
Step 1 - Making Green Tea
In a saucepan or tea kettle heat water till it comes to boiling point and then turn off the heat. Wait for 2 minutes before adding the green tea bags to the water. Too hot water or boiling water kills nutrients and the antioxidative property of the green tea.
Add green tea bags to the hot water and steep for 3 minutes. Then remove the tea bags and discard.
Step 2 - Add lemonade (other ingredients)
To the green tea, add simple syrup, water, lemon juice, ice cubes. Using a shaker shake it 4 - 5 times mixing all ingredients.
Iced green tea is ready to serve. Add a sprig of mint leaf for additional flavor.
