If you're looking for a refreshing beverage to help you cool down on a hot summer day, look no further than iced green tea lemonade. Starbucks Green Tea Lemonade inspires this recipe.

Starbucks' iced green tea lemonade is the perfect drink for a hot summer day. The refreshing combination of sweet and tart flavors is perfectly balanced, and the tea provides a slight caffeine boost. The lemonade is also surprisingly hydrating, making it a great choice for those looking to stay hydrated while enjoying a delicious beverage.

Homemade green tea lemonade is equally delicious and the best part is you can customize the flavors. This tea is a fusion of iced green tea, sweet-tangy lemonade, and a lot of ice. This drink is the perfect balance of tart and sweet.

Plus, it's packed with antioxidants from green tea, making it a healthier choice. So next time you're in the mood for something refreshing, pick up a green tea lemonade from Starbucks. Or make yourself a copycat Starbucks green tea lemonade.

You can also try other Starbucks copycat drinks like iced black tea lemonade, iced matcha lemonade, iced matcha latte.

    Iced Green Tea Lemonade

Even if this is a copycat recipe, it doesn't copy the complete recipe like the brands of tea/ green tea and the premix syrups they use in their drinks since those are not available in the market to purchase. But using similar substitutions you can make them at home easily.

For those who are looking for a healthy alternative to sugary sodas or fruit juices, this iced green tea lemonade is a perfect drink. It's low in calories and contains antioxidants that can help to boost your immune system. So next time you're feeling thirsty, reach for a glass of iced green tea lemonade!

    Iced Green Tea Lemonade Ingredients

    Green Tea

    Lemon Juice

Simple syrup (or honey/ maple syrup/ brown sugar syrup)

    Water

    Ice cubes

How to make iced green tea lemonade (Starbucks Style)?

It's an easy drink and takes 5 minutes only to make at home. The green tea brand I use is not the same as used in Starbucks. You can take your favorite brand.

Step 1 - Making Green Tea

In a saucepan or tea kettle heat water till it comes to boiling point and then turn off the heat. Wait for 2 minutes before adding the green tea bags to the water. Too hot water or boiling water kills nutrients and the antioxidative property of the green tea.

Add green tea bags to the hot water and steep for 3 minutes. Then remove the tea bags and discard.

Step 2 - Add lemonade (other ingredients)

To the green tea, add simple syrup, water, lemon juice, ice cubes. Using a shaker shake it 4 - 5 times mixing all ingredients.

Iced green tea is ready to serve. Add a sprig of mint leaf for additional flavor.

    F A Qs

What is Starbucks green tea lemonade sweetened with?

Starbucks uses liquid cane sugar (simple syrup) for their lemonades.

How many calories in Starbucks Iced tea lemonade?

Roughly 68 calories with 17.3 gms carb, 0 fat, 0 fiber, and 0 protein.

Is green tea lemonade a healthy drink?

Green tea lemonade is a healthier summer drink as compared to the carbonated drinks. Green tea is antioxidant rich and helps in promoting good metabolism. However, to eliminate sugar in your drink, substitute the simple syrup with stevia/ honey/ maple syrup.
