Corn kabab is a crispy and delicious appetizer. This is one of the easiest and quickest snacks you can make in just 30 minutes or less. And this crispy corn kebab is a vegan, gluten-free snack and appetizer.

    Crispy Corn Kabab

    Crispy Corn Kabab Recipe

As the name says, in corn kabab, the hero ingredients are corn or sweet corn. When we think of snacks or party appetizers, we want recipes that are easy, hassle-free, and, at the same time, quickly made. So here is one more name to such a list. These are vegan, too.

For this recipe, we need sweet corn, frozen or fresh. In the case of fresh corn, you need to boil and cool them before adding to other ingredients. And like I always mention in other kabab recipes where we add potatoes as a binding agent, we need to boil and cool the potatoes well in advance. When cooked and hot, it has more water content, so it will not bind properly. The second reason is that even if you add cornstarch for binding, it will turn out very sticky and not in shape.

For better results, after preparing the mixture of all ingredients, could you keep it in the refrigerator to set? So that it will not crack and split while deep frying.

You can shallow or pan-fry them, but deep frying brings extra crispness to kabab. Read my 8 Vegetarian kabab recipes on the blog.

You can also prepare the kabab mixture, give it shape, and keep it in a deep freezer for future use. So if you have a party or get-together at home, you can prepare the kababs very smartly in 5 - 10 minutes.

Or you can give them the shape of patties, place them in a pair of buns or pieces of bread, and pack this healthy burger for your kid's tiffin box.
