Air-fried green beans are the most convenient way to enjoy these veggies. The air fryer does all of the work with no added fat required. Air frying is really a healthier option as it requires little to no oil for cooking.

I have never imagined air frying these tender vegetables in the air fryer. But I'm really amazed at the results. So quick to make, it does not take even 10 minutes to make a healthy side dish.

Air-fried vegetables are so quick and delicious and you can season them with your favorite seasoning or keep it simple with salt and pepper. These air fryer green beans are irresistible!

    Air Fryer Green Beans

An air fryer works like a convection oven. It cooks the food with the hot air that keeps on rotating at a high-speed fan. So you can roast the vegetables in a similar way that an oven can do too but in a much lesser time.

You can use fresh or frozen green beans for this air fryer recipe. If you buy them fresh, simply snap off the stem ends. Tender and organic green beans are the best to cook in the air fryer. You can also consider frozen beans to save a little more time.

These air fryer green beans are:-

    • quick side dish
    • perfect for clean eating
    • vegan, plant-based
    • gluten-free
    • 3-ingredients only
    • delicious, crisp and crunch
    • Keto-friendly vegetable

    Ingredients you will need

Green beans - organic green beans give the best results.

olive oil spray or avocado oil spray (appx 1 tsp)

    Salt & pepper to taste

Seasonings - garlic powder, onion powder

Add any of your favorite seasonings.

    Instructions

Wash and clean the green beans. Cut off the ends of the green beans.

You can cut the green beans into halves or keep them intact. Place them in a bowl. Drizzle some oil and sprinkle the seasonings.

    Preheat the Air fryer to 400 F for 3 - 4 minutes.

Transfer the green beans to the air fryer basket. Start the air fryer at 370 F for 6 minutes. Pause at 3 minutes and give them a shake. Remove once the desired doneness is reached. Serve hot with any menu.

Timing of air fryers may vary by plus or minus 2 minutes depending on the size and type of the air fryer too. Please remember all air fryers don't take the same time and temperature for any particular recipe.

    Roasted Frozen Green Beans

For frozen greenbeans, there is no need to thaw the vegetables. Place them directly into the air fryer and start the air fryer at 370 F for 12 - 14 minutes depending on the air fryer.

Pause at 5 minutes mark. Spray the oil and sprinkle salt and pepper. Gently shake them to mix well.

Also don't place the green beans in large quantity in the basket. Make in batches for best crisp roasted green beans.

What to serve with air fryer green beans?

This is a great side dish. This can go with any of the meals or menus. Serve them in the vegan burrito bowl or with any quick vegan meals as a quick side dish. Also, these are great sides to serve along with any soups like potato leek soup.

    Leftover and Reheat

You can store the leftover in refrigerator for 3 - 4 days when stored properly in an air tight box. When ready to use, take out and through them into the airfryer and reheat at 370 F for 2 minutes or until warm enough.
