Wash and clean the okra. Look for any damaged spots, bugs, pests, etc, and discard that part or that okra.
Wipe them dry with a dry kitchen towel. Or air-dry the okra till they are completely dry.
Trim the ends. Dice them into bite-sized pieces. You can also slit them vertically making a long fries-like shape.
Place them in a deep bowl and add the seasonings followed by olive oil.
Line the baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the okra to the baking sheet.
Bake the okra for 15 minutes or until they turn tender with a lightly crisped exterior.
Serve immediately. Make in batches if you are making in large quantities.
Notes
Olive oil helps to coat the okra with spices making the exterior crispy.If your oven is at a maximum of 400 F (200 C) then bake for 18 - 20 minutes or till they are tender enough as desired.
