Dal Paratha Recipe
This is a protein rich healthy breakfast recipe. You can make this from leftover dal as well.

Ingredients

cooked dal

cup
wheat flour

chickpea flour

ghee
for dough

red chilli powder

tsp
coriander powder

tsp
cumin powder

pinch
turmeric powder

pinch
hing
asafoetida
½ - 1

check if dal also has some salt while cooked

to cook paratha
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl add dal, flour, dry spices, salt, 1 tsp oil and mix well first.
Try to knead without adding water.
If required, add a little water gradually kneading a smooth dough.
Cover with a moist napkin for 5 minutes.
Divide dough into equal portions.
Roll them into circles like flatbreads.
Heat Tawa and place the paratha and shallow fry till it changes colour and puffy.
Apply ghee on both sides and flip, ensuring it is cooked equally.
Remove once done properly.
Serve hot with pickles or sauces/ dips of choice.
Notes
I have used cooked moong dal. Use any dal as you wish.
