Cauliflower steaks are a great way to make cauliflower. Serve this as sides or main dish for lunch or dinner. These cauliflower steaks are vegan & gluten-free.
Wash and clean the cauliflower head. Snap off the cauliflower leaves and cut the stem but keep the core.
With help of a sharp knife, cut the cauliflower through the center into halves.
Then cut each half into 3 - 4 inch slices. Keep the thickness even. The outer florets may fall off. You can roast them along with steaks.
In a small bowl add the spices and olive oil. Stir well to mix.
Now drizzle the seasoned oil over the cauliflower and rub well to coat the slices nicely with oil and seasonings.
Let it sit for 10 - 20 minutes (optional) to absorb the flavors. However, if short of time, you can start cooking immediately also.
