Cabbage Pakoda/ Cabbage Fritters
Crispy cabbage pakoda is one of the best crunchiest fritter that are deep fried appetizers. Serve them with hot ginger tea in your evening teatime.

Ingredients

cup
shredded cabbage
1
onion
finely chopped
1
green chilli
finely chopped
1
tsp
crushed ginger garlic
¼
tsp
carom seeds or ajwain
½
tsp
cumin seeds
½
cup
gram flour
2
tbsp
rice flour
1
tsp
red chilli powder
1
tsp
coriander powder
salt to taste
water to make batter

oil for deep frying
Instructions
In a mixing bowl add shredded cabbage, onion, green chilli, ajwain, jeera, flour, salt and spices. Mix the ingredients.
Add little water and mix with ingredients.
Whisk for a minute.
Heat oil in a pan.
Once oil is hot, drop small portion of batter into it.
Make sure it's getting fried equally on all sides.
Remove from oil when golden and crisp.
Place on a paper napkin to get rid of excess oil.
Serve hot with any dip or ketchup.
