Ingredients

green beans
fresh

diced : substitute - cherry tomatoes

or as per taste

Italian seasonings
more or less as you need

chili flakes to garnish

grated parmesan cheese
or vegan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Now heat water in a pot/ saucepan and add a tsp salt to it. Bring it to a boil.
Once it starts to boil, add the green beans and simmer for 2 - 3 minutes or till beans are just cooked tender (
al dente
).
After that take a bowl filled with ice water.
Remove the beans from hot water and transfer them to ice water for 2 - 3 minutes.
After that remove beans from ice water and keep aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet.
Add garlic minced and saute for 10 seconds.
Then add the green beans to the pan.
Add diced tomatoes and onions to the pan.
Season with salt, pepper, chili pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning mix.
Toss to mix all well.
Keep the temperature low and cover the skillet with a lid.
Saute for 5 minutes depending on the doneness you need. Keep stirring inbetween. Cook till tomatoes start to turn soft and onions are translucent.
Remove once done and serve hot.
