How to Blanch Almonds
This is a quick way to blanch and skin almonds quickly.
raw unsalted almonds
heat water in a sauce pan
when water starts boiling, put almonds in it.
simmer for 40-60 seconds (not more than that).
Now remove from hot water and wash in cold water.
Wipe with a kitchen towel.
You can notice the skin is loosened.
Now remove the skin.
Sundry or air dry the almonds completely before using it in any recipe.
