Heat ghee in a pan and shallow fry dry fruits. remove and keep aside.
Add grated apple immediately to the pan and saute for 5 minutes.
Keep stirring continuously in between to avoid sticking at base.
Add sugar to the pan.
Keep stirring. Sugar will start to melt.
Simmer till it's absorbed completely.
Add cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and vanila extract.
If required add some more ghee to the halwa.
Turn off heat and garnish with more fried dry fruits.
Notes
You can add condensed milk or khoya to the halwa.Used apple immediately you grate as it will start decoloring soon.If you are making for fasting recipe, avoid cinnamon powder.
