Vegan Chocolate Banana Bread

This vegan chocolate banana bread is one of the best flavoured bread I have tried yet. My banana bread is very simple and made in 30 minutes with minimal ingredients This is great for breakfast or as dessert. This is one of the kidsfavorite bread as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup refined flour 250gms
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 3 banana (over-ripe)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 400 degree.
  • Grease a loaf pan.
  • Take mashed overripe bananas.
  • Add all other ingredients to the pan other than dry flours.
  • Add dry flour passing through the sieve.
  • Mix all ingredients well until combined using a spoon and fold method.
  • Don't overmix.
  • Then transfer the batter to the loaf pan. pat once or twice.
  • Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.
  • Check the readiness of bread with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, baking is complete.
  • Otherwise place for another 10 minutes in oven.
  • Once done, remove from oven and keep aside to cool.
  • Remove from loaf pan and cut into equal sized slices.
