Hakka Noodles is an easy dish made in Asian flavors, more precisely in Chinese flavors. This is vegan and loaded with lots of vegetables. One of the delicious dishes to add to your quick lunch or dinner menu.

    Hakka Nodles

Making hakka noodles is an easy task indeed. To make the noodles, 1st cook the noodles in hot water for a few minutes till they are tender. Saute the veggies, like cabbage, carrots, french beans, bean sprouts, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Then add the Asian sauces and the boiled noodles. Garnish with fresh green beans for that crunch.

This is an easy Chinese main course dish. Hakka noodles are a popular Chinese-Indian dish that has its roots in the Hakka region of China but has been adapted to suit Indian tastes.

    Ingredients You'll Need:

Hakka noodles (or any eggless noodles of your choice)

Mixed vegetables - bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, beans, spring onions, onions

Fresh Garlic, minced - add garlic in a generous amount

    Fresh Ginger, minced

Sauces - Soy sauce, Chili hot sauce (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness), Vinegar

    Vegetable oil

    Salt and pepper to taste

    How To Make Hakka Noodles?

Boil the noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Be careful not to overcook them. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.

Heat some oil in a large wok or a deep pan over high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 - 40 seconds or until fragrant.

Add the mixed vegetables to the wok and stir-fry for a few minutes until they start to become tender but are still crisp. Then add the boiled noodles to the wok and stir-fry them along with the vegetables for 2 - 3 minutes on a high flame. Stir in between.

Season with soy sauce, chili sauce, and a dash of vinegar. You can adjust the quantity of these sauces to your taste preference. Stir-fry the noodles and vegetables together for a few minutes, making sure the sauces are evenly distributed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Finally, add chopped spring onions and toss the noodles one more time. Garnish the Hakka noodles with some additional spring onions. And serve hot.
