  • heat water in a sauce pan
  • when water starts boiling, put almonds in it.
  • simmer for 40-60 seconds (not more than that).
  • Now remove from hot water and wash in cold water.
  • Wipe with a kitchen towel.
  • You can notice the skin is loosened.
  • Now remove the skin.
  • Sundry or air dry the almonds completely before using it in any recipe.
