Indian Sattu is a powdered form of roasted chickpeas. Black chickpeas (Kala Chana) are rich source of protein and fiber. These are one of the super-foods and packed with vitamins and minerals. So you can buy roasted ones and grind them to fine powder and store them for further use. Else if you want to make it even easier, these are readily available in local market.  Sattu is a popular dish of Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, UP, Kolkatta, Odisha. This is made from roasted pulses or grams. It can be made from roasted bengal grams or roasted chickpeas. Some people make this from mixture of bengal gram and chickpeas.
