Instructions
  1. Heat one kadai on medium to high flame. Put some oil to it.
  2. Once Oil is hot put one teaspoon cumin seeds. Let it crackle and then add sliced onions and green chillies. Sauté for 2 mins on high flame till it turns brown.
  3. Add chopped capsicum & potatoes. Add salt as per taste. Don’t add water to it. Sauté for 5 minute by stirring occasionally.
  4. Then add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix it well. Add 4-5 tbsp water and cook masalas for 2-3 mins more.
  5. Place a lid on pan & cook in low flame till potatoes are cooked completely.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala or sabji masala on top of it and mix well.
  7. Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with paratha, chapatti & rice.
Recipe Notes
  • Use boiled potatoes to reduce the cooking time.
  • Don't add water at all
