Baby Corn Manchurian with Gravy

Corn Manchurian makes a perfect side dish for your noodles or fried rice. It’s very easy to prepare this dish and you have to make it like any of the manchurian dish. When ever I make fried rice, I do make this sweet corn manchurian to accompany this. You can make this manchurian with little gravy or even as dry. There are 3 easy steps to prepare this recipe.

  1. Boil baby corns.
  2. Coat them in mixture of flour and fry.
  3. Prepare gravy in Asian way and mix the fried corns.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Boil baby corn in water and a pinch of salt for 5 minutes.

  2. Make a paste with refined flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, black pepper, red chilli powder, salt. It should be of coating consistency

  3. Dip the baby corn slice in the batter mix. Shallow fry them in 2 tbsp hot oil.

  4. Remove from oil when done and both sides are cooked crisp.

  5. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped garlic and saute for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste. and saute till it leaves raw smell.

  6. Add chopped onion and bell peppers. Cook till onion is translucent. Add

  7. Add soy sauce and vinegar to the pan.

  8. Add fried baby corns and saute for a minute.

  9. Then add water to it. season with salt and black pepper.

  10. Once it starts boiling, pour in mixture of corn flour and water to the boiling gravy. This will help in thickening the gravy.

  11. Turn off heat when it reach desired consistency. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot with noodles or fried rice.
